Tanya is a pre-and post-operative nurse with more than 20 years of experience in the field of reconstructive surgery. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Iowa.
Tanya preps the patients for surgery as well as provides care throughout the procedure and monitors the patient’s progress and pain management in the recovery room. “Making patients feel comfortable and supported in their decision to pursue plastic surgery is important to me. It’s inspiring to me to see patients smile and become excited over receiving the best results possible.”
Tanya describes herself as loyal, protective, and kind. She wishes her superpower could be providing a protective shield around her grandchildren. She prefers to spend time at home, but during the summer she loves kayaking and biking. She’s content when she doesn’t have to cook, but she will wow you with her ability to tie a cherry stem in a knot with her tongue!
