Your financial options with Dr. Bartell
Afford procedures that are not covered by health insurance
Cosmetic surgery can be extremely satisfying for those who elect this option. Despite the medical nature of the procedures however, insurance companies generally do not reimburse for most cosmetic surgery. Some exceptions include many breast reductions. (Please note that Dr. Bartell does not work with insurance for breast reductions or any procedures.) In these cases, it is often helpful for the patient to have a letter sent to the insurance company requesting pre-surgical authorization. It is also beneficial to supply documentation from other medical professionals supporting existing medical problems, which could constitute a medical necessity for the cosmetic procedure.
Dr. Bartell’s fees for cosmetic surgery include all costs related to the surgery itself, including supplies, anesthesia, and full support team of surgical specialists, as well as pre-operative lab studies (if any), and all pre- and post-operative care. Because Dr. Bartell performs most of his procedures at his own private surgical center, his patients avoid the inconvenience of dealing with a host of separate hospital billings for individual professional services, facilities, supplies, and equipment.
There are several payment options for you
